The words you'll hear in every drama, episode after episode
How it's curated
1.High frequency in actual K-drama dialogue — not textbook frequency. These are the words that recur across episodes regardless of genre.
2.Skewed informal — emotional moments in dramas are nearly always in 반말 between intimates. Formal forms included only where they're plot-relevant (e.g., addressing a 회장님).
3.Mix of utility + emotional weight — pure filler (“진짜”) AND tear-jerker phrases (“가지 마”). Recognition is more useful than memorization for the casual viewer.
4.No regional/era-specific terms — these are the modern Seoul-standard you'll hear in 2020s contemporary dramas. Sageuk-specific vocab belongs in a separate pack.
5.Avoid duplication with the 반말/존댓말 pack — that pack focuses on the formality contrast pairs. This pack focuses on recognition.
